Algonquin College Employees Volunteer

May 29, 2014
On April 9, 2014, over 30 Algonquin College employees gave back over 250 hours to their community as part of a new volunteering pilot program. Employees from the College's Advancement and HR departments gave their time to three local non-profits, including the Ottawa Food Bank, Ottawa Humane Society, and Ottawa Community Housing. Several employees also volunteered at We Day, an annual youth empowerment conference that encourages students to make a difference in their community. The day was a huge success - that's why, for the upcoming school year, 1,000 employees will have that same opportunity to volunteer. Watch for more details at algonquincollege.com/HR.
